This modest home has two bedrooms and can accommodate up to four guests. Ideal for the couples retreat, gathering of friends, joining of family, or the nomadic work-from-home traveler.

Once arrived at the Palm House you'll retreat past the large Mesquite trees supplying shade and privacy. Our namesake Palm has a peek-a-boo gateway to the sky and proudly standing guard. Once inside the functional flow of the space will wrap you around from the family room, dining, kitchen, and access to the back yard. Looping through the kitchen or from the entryway leads you to the two bedrooms both with queen beds and a common bathroom.

The main space has large windows overlooking the front garden, comfortable seating, TV with Roku including Netflix and Amazon programming. As you sink into the sofa you can let the daily life drift away. If you can't unplug the dining table has seating for six and provides a useful make-shift workspace. The kitchen is modern, has generous prep space, is well-equipped with appliances large and small making mealtime a breeze. The dining area is open to the kitchen with direct access to the outdoor space and garage.

Relax on the front porch beneath the shade of glorious mesquite trees and sneak a peek at daily life in Twentynine Palms. The Palm House is located in a residential neighborhood where it is common to see folks walking their dog, kids riding bikes or playing games, families coming and going about their day.

For more privacy, you can unwind in the backyard under the patio which extends the width of the home. You'll have plenty of seating selection with an outdoor dining table, hammocks, and a conversation area. Settle back and watch the birds feed on the cactus blooms and enjoy the sunrise of the morning. The afternoons are shaded and are often sheltered from the westerly winds making the perfect time to grab a guidebook, a beverage, and coordinate your next excursion. Gather your favorite fixin's from the grocery store and barbecue on the gas grill while between turns at horseshoes.

The central location near downtown Twentynine Palms and Joshua Tree Village will set you in the heart of what's happening both day and night, yet the privacy to relax in peace and quiet.  All the while you can relax with a hot shower and the electronic conveniences we so often seek. Eat at home, pack a lunch, or head to town for some amazing local cuisine; the choice is yours.    

With just a few minutes' travel, you can be exploring the 49 Palms Oasis trail or with a 7 miles drive to Joshua Tree National Park, offering hiking trails, endless rock formations, and vast desert views. Town amenities begin with a two-minute drive to the local grocery store and sampling of eateries. A short jaunt to downtown 29 Palms offers restaurants, Starbucks coffee, gastropub, small shops, and Saturday Farmer's Market located at Freedom Plaza. Highway 62 is just a few blocks away providing swift travel to neighboring Joshua Tree, Pioneertown, and the entire Morongo Basin.

The ease of hiking and exploring couldn't be better with the Indian Cove Campground, 49 Palms Oasis Trail, and Desert View Conservation nearby.  Recommendations for Pioneertown, Landers Brew, Giant Rock, Gublers Orchid Nursery, and the Integratron are easy excursions when staying at the Palm House.
