Immerse yourself in Joshua Tree by attending this TWO DAY ARTIST WORKSHOP! The setting is ideal as you surround yourself with boulders, sunshine, and like-minded artists. Skilled artist, Lynn Zachreson, will be instructing the play and stay retreat at Sunnyrock Acres in Joshua Tree, California.

Beginning and experienced painters are encouraged to attend. Basic watercolor techniques including wet wash, dry wash, line and texture will be taught along with color mixing and composition.

The class will tour the 2nd Saturday Gallery Walk in Joshua Tree on the evening of March 10th for discussion of the basic element of art: color, line, form, value, texture, and how they work to create successful composition. The Venue:

Sunnyrock Acres Sunnyrock Acres is a three bedroom, two bath house on five acres of rock-sheltered desert land. It has an indoor common space with a large eat-in kitchen and living room, and an outdoor patio space with wood stove, dining area, and wood-fired hot tub. It borders the 600+ acre Desert View Conservation Area, a protected highland of natural vegetation, rock hills, and expansive views of the surrounding desert.

Daytime between 10 am and 5 pm, space will be shared with participants of the workshop. Evenings between 5 pm to 10 am, the house will be reserved for overnight guests
